I just wanted to thank you for making the travel arrangements for our trip to Italy. It was especially nice to have all the planning done for me and laid out so clearly. We had a fantastic time! It was definitely a vacation we’ll remember forever. It’s hard to cover everything, so I’ll just share a few highlights.
Rome was wonderful! Although we were unable to visit the Sistine Chapel because it was closed, we were fortunate enough to find ourselves in St. Peter’s Square when the new pop gave his first Sunday address. It was a very festive atmosphere with signs from many parts of the world, Italian families (with their dogs, of course!), media, and guards in full regalia, etc. That was a very special experience.
We loved Santa Margherita Ligure and our beautiful hotel. It was such a lovely place that we decided to stay there rather than visit Cinque Terre. We were lucky enough to have a full day of sunshine there.
We enjoyed Florence very much and were able to spend some time with Stephanie’s college friends. The highlight there had to be when we visited Piazzale Michaelangelo and found the new Ferrari was on display. Steven, who absolutely LOVES sports cars, was able to take a ride with an Italian fighter pilot driving the car – truly a dream come true!
So thanks again for making our trip plans!
With kind regards
